In this year's 3 yr old schedule we've been taking longer adventures..botanic grdns on Thursdays, Manhattan on Fridays. Today we rode a new train (to us), the B!, pretending to be Elliot the elephant who loves cupcakes and lives in the city. Post cc we danced to guitar music, made sidewalk art, watched the dogs in their 'playground ', and hopped in Louie's first taxi ride so we could pick daddy up from work for supper in the city. A leisurely marathon for sure.
Louis was excited and a little nervous… But woke up very happy and full of energy for his new experience. Drop off went well… No tears, Big kisses and hugs !
Happy birthday to our little fella! 10:37pm three yrs ago we welcomed you into the world, today we celebrate and give thanks for each and every part of the gift of you! Today Mike and I are giving thanks for the experience of parenting you..Louie, we love you!
THREE!
Mama and Louie brunch after a music class in which he was the birthday star..
When you have Hand-foot-mouth and you are too contagious to play with other kids AND the last day of construction is happening at your house, you chill in the car on the way to the beach, of course!
Last full day at 702 tmrw...so carefully have we built a home here the past 7 years, that though the future is undoubtably bright, saying goodbye to the walls and floors that have heard so much laughter, music and tears, will be hard. #sayinggoodbye
